Auburn Bagel Company was born out of the desire to put down deeper roots in a community which I've forever cherished. Moving back home over a decade ago I continued working for a hospitality company that kept me on the road for months at a time. Growing tired of the travel, I decided to stay put and open Auburn Bagel Company.

Taking a look at the culinary landscape in Auburn, I noticed that freshly baked bagels were not being represented, and I believed that the community would embrace having such a shop. Early on in my career, while working at a bagel shop in Manhattan near Columbia University, I learned how to make authentic, traditional New York City style bagels.

Auburn Bagel Company’s story is that simple. Boy leaves home, travels the world in search of his passion, returns years later to “arrive where he started” and “know the place for the first time.”

Auburn Bagel Company is an authentic and traditional New York City style bagelry where you can have a nosh (small bite), kibitz (informally chat) with friends and L’chaim (celebrate life)! We invite you to come in and enjoy a freshly baked, water-kettled NYC bagel with a schmear (spread) or as a foundation for a sandwich while you sip on a freshly brewed cup of locally roasted good ole American coffee or a beverage from our abundant and varied selection of cold refreshments.

Our bagels are always sold freshly baked and we are delighted to share with you our table.
